Get to know Mayvor: local-first work, coding agents, Desktop, and Cloud.

15 questions

Getting startedWhat is Mayvor?

Mayvor is a local-first work-management product that helps developers organize projects and coordinate execution with coding agents. Desktop shows work locally; Cloud optionally shares it with the team.

Getting startedWhat does Mayvor mean?

Mayvor is a coined name inspired by Make Your Vision Real. Pronounced MAY-vah (IPA: /ˈmeɪ.və/), it expresses a mission to turn intentions into meaningful outcomes through planning, execution, and persistence.

Getting startedMigration from Peacae PM

Mayvor is the new identity of Peacae PM. Existing project contracts and integration identifiers remain compatible. See the migration guide for details.

Getting startedYour work stays yours.

Desktop keeps project history in a local database. The project file gives agents concise access to current work; Cloud sync is optional.

Getting startedWhat do I need to start?

An agent-ready project setup, a coding agent that follows Mayvor’s agent instructions, and Mayvor Desktop to watch the board. Cloud is optional until you need shared team visibility.

Getting startedWhat is the working process?

Each session: launch Mayvor Desktop first so it is watching the board, then open your IDE in that same repo so the agent can work, then connect with Cloud for sync if the team should see it. Desktop is the watcher and sync client. Cloud is optional — skip it for solo or offline work. If you open the IDE first, the agent can still write; you just will not see a live Mayvor board until Desktop is running.

Agents & DesktopDo agents call Mayvor Cloud APIs?

No. Agents never call Mayvor APIs or Cloud databases. They update the project board in the work they are doing. Desktop syncs to Cloud when you are signed in and linked.

Agents & DesktopWhich coding agents work with Mayvor?

Any agent that can follow Mayvor’s agent instructions and update the board — including Cursor, Claude, and similar IDE agents. Status rules and timestamps are part of that contract.

Agents & DesktopDoes Mayvor replace my IDE or ticketing tool?

No. Mayvor is the board for agent-written delivery signals — not a replacement for your IDE, git host, or every company-wide tracker. Use it where agent progress needs durable project management.

Cloud & syncIs Cloud required?

No. Local Desktop plus agent-ready setup is enough for solo or offline work. Cloud adds accounts, invites, mirrored project data, workspace teams, and org Orchestrator activity across linked projects.

Cloud & syncHow does sync work?

When you are signed in and a watched project is linked to Cloud, Desktop pushes board changes. Pending sync is Desktop-local; offline agent updates catch up when you reconnect.

Cloud & syncCan I watch multiple repositories?

Yes. Desktop supports many watched paths; each links to one Cloud project. Org Orchestrator shows chronological activity across those projects.
